Want to see some beautiful bikes and talk to the builders about what makes a handmade frame something special? Visit the ‘MADE Australia’ show in Melbourne (28-29 June 2024).

It’s only when you are at a bike show that you realise the experience goes beyond the beautiful bikes that are on display. What makes an event like ‘MADE Bike Australia’ special are the people connected with the expo, the conversations and new friendships that grow from the expanding community connected like spokes to a hub, and the chance to see a bit of cycling exotica up close. MADE is that hub and it’s part of the ‘Melburn Roobaix, weekend of wheels’ an event which, in June 2024, celebrates 19 years of a unique style cycling fun.

Featuring some of the world’s finest frame builders and an emerging echelon of talent, you can see it all first-hand at Darebin International Sports Centre on Friday and Saturday 28 and 29 June 2024.

The exhibitor list is an industry who’s who including the likes of Baum, PROVA, Woods Bicycle Co, Curve Cycling, and Stinner from the USA. Many of these frame builders’ creations feature sublime custom finishes by Velocraft, or they may be adorned with cycling-appropriate bags from Framework Designs and skingrowsback.

The bikes on display cover the gamut of two-wheeled recreational genres, materials and construction methods. The Saturday of the MADE show has the addition of ‘Bicycles Roadshow’ with classic, cool, custom and quirky bikes lining the duckboards of the velodrome.

There will be so much for cycling enthusiasts to see, and it’s all under one roof. Get ready to ogle, talk, and celebrate the work of some true craftspeople… you will kick yourself if you miss this opportunity to share the buzz that comes with creative thinking and a love of bikes and cycling.
